The Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD) has announced that the weather in Qatar will continue to be hot and partly cloudy this weekend. The temperature in the country is likely to rise to 39 degrees Celsius to 41 degrees Celsius on Friday and Saturday. There will be light dust storms and high temperatures during the day on Friday, but the sky will be partly cloudy. There is a possibility of increasing humidity and fog formation in the atmosphere by the evening, and the weather center has stated that the heat and fog will continue in a similar manner on Saturday.

The authorities have said that the sea will be calm over the weekend and the height of the waves will be between 1 and 3 feet. On Friday, the winds will blow from the west/northwest at a speed of 8 to 18 knots per hour, reaching 25 knots at times; but by the afternoon, the wind will change to the northeast and decrease to 3 to 13 knots. Wind speeds will be below 5 knots initially on Saturday, but later gusts of 5 to 15 knots are possible from the northwest and northeast directions.
