The organizing committee has officially approved the competition schedule for the 4th GCC Games (GCC Games – Doha 2026), which the sports world is eagerly awaiting. National teams from six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries will participate in this sporting event, which will begin on May 11.
A total of 17 sports will be competed in this time. The main events are handball, table tennis, athletics, paddle, fencing, boxing, taekwondo, karate, swimming, billiards, snooker, 3×3 basketball, shooting, archery, volleyball, equestrian and bowling. The competitions will be held at 10 state-of-the-art venues in Doha, including the Aspire Dome, Hamad Aquatic Centre and Lusail Shooting Range.
The games will kick off on May 12 with swimming, 3×3 basketball, and taekwondo competitions. The highly anticipated athletics events will begin on May 14 at the Qatar Sports Club. The Games will conclude with the handball final on May 22.
