The Public Works Department (Ashghal) has announced that the Gharafa Al Rayyan Interchange tunnel will be completely closed for eight hours for maintenance work. The traffic restrictions will be imposed in the direction towards Doha.
The tunnel will be closed from 2am to 10am on Friday, April 24, 2026, in cooperation with the Traffic Directorate. During this time, passengers traveling from Gharafa Al Rayyan to Doha should use the Gharafa Al Rayyan Interchange signals as an alternative route.
