The Moon Sighting Committee at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has called on the faithful to observe the sighting of the holy Ramadan moon in Qatar. The directive is to observe the moon on the evening of Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

If anyone sees the moon, they are requested to come to the committee’s office at the Ministry of Awqaf headquarters in Dafna Towers and provide testimony, the committee said in a press release. The committee will meet immediately after Maghrib prayer on Tuesday.
