Qatar now has the world’s longest air-conditioned outdoor track. The park, named Rawdat Al Hamama Public Park, was inaugurated by H.E. Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipalities. The 1,197-metre-long park has been built with an aim to encourage the public to make jogging and walking a part of life.
The project will benefit the residents of Al-Khisa and nearby areas. The project was implemented by the Public Works Authority (Ashgall) together with the Public Parks Department of the Ministry of Municipalities.
ദിവസേന 10,000 സന്ദർശകരെ വരെ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളാൻ ഈ പാർക്കിന് സാധിയ്ക്കും. ഖത്തറിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്ലാൻ്റ് ക്ലോക്ക്, 8 സർവീസ് കിയോസ്‌കുകൾ, 500 കാണികളെ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ആംഫി തിയേറ്റർ, പുരുഷന്മാർക്കും സ്ത്രീകൾക്കും പ്രത്യേക പ്രാർത്ഥനാ മുറികളും കുളിമുറികളും എല്ലാം പ്രോജക്ടിന്റെ ഭാഗമായുണ്ട്.
പ്രാദേശികവും അന്തർദേശീയവുമായ 21 ഇനങ്ങളിലെ1,042 മരങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്. കൂടാതെ 100 ശതമാനം ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ച വെള്ളം ഉപയോഗിച്ചുള്ള ഒരു ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് ജലസേചന സംവിധാനവും മറ്റ് ആധുനിക സൗകര്യങ്ങളും പാർക്കിനെ കൂടുതൽ ആകർഷകമാക്കുന്നു.
