Carnegie Mellon University-Qatar (CMU-Q), a partner university of the Qatar Foundation, has announced the launch of Qatar’s first undergraduate program in Artificial Intelligence. The Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (BSAI) aims to equip students with a broad range of skills to excel in a field that is transforming industries around the world.
Developed in collaboration with Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Qatar Foundation, the program supports the country’s human development and economic diversification goals by cultivating a skilled local talent pool. Students will also benefit from Qatar Foundation’s unique multi-university ecosystem, which provides opportunities for cross-disciplinary learning and research with other partner institutions.
