The Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD) has warned of hot and humid weather across the country this weekend. Clouds are expected to develop on Friday and Saturday. It said strong winds and high seas are possible on Saturday, August 16.
Temperatures are expected to range between 33°C and 44°C over the weekend. Winds will mainly blow from the northeast to the southeast at 5–15 knots, gusting to 20–24 knots during the day. At sea, waves are expected to reach 2–4 feet on Friday, with occasional waves reaching 5 feet. On Saturday, sea levels are forecast to reach 4–6 feet, with occasional waves reaching 8 feet.
