All Museums in Qatar to Operate on Public Holidays

Following a recent announcement by the Amiri Diwan, all museums, galleries, restaurants, and shops in Qatar will remain open on public holidays, following their regular operating hours. This allows Qatar residents and visitors to enjoy Qatar’s cultural diversity during their days off.

As part of the Qatar Creates Fall/Winter 2024-25 season, exhibitions are showcasing sculptures, historical collections, and more. The museums in Doha will operate on weekends and public holidays as per the schedule below.

National Museum of Qatar:
Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday: 9 AM – 7 PM
Thursday: 9 AM – 9 PM
Friday: 1:30 PM – 7 PM (Closed on Tuesday)

Museum of Islamic Art:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Saturday: 9 AM – 7 PM
Thursday: 9 AM – 9 PM
Friday: 1:30 PM – 7 PM (Closed on Wednesday)

3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM):
Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday: 9 AM – 7 PM
Thursday: 9 AM – 9 PM
Friday: 1:30 PM – 7 PM (Closed on Tuesday)

Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art:
Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday: 9 AM – 7 PM
Thursday: 9 AM – 9 PM
Friday: 1:30 PM – 7 PM (Closed on Monday)
