Qatar Public Works Authority Ashghal has announced that it will impose traffic restrictions at the Pearl Interchange Underpass on Lusail Road as part of maintenance works. The left lane in the direction of Doha will be temporarily closed. The restrictions will be in place from 2am on Saturday, February 7, 2026, to 2am on Sunday, February 8, 2026. The maintenance work is being carried out in collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic.

During this time, Ashghal advised vehicles traveling from The Pearl to Doha to slow down when approaching the underpass and use the other two lanes that have been opened for traffic. Authorities urged motorists to pay attention to road signs to ensure safety.
