Qatar’s Public Works Department, Ashghal, has announced that temporary traffic restrictions will be imposed at Bu Sidra Interchange on May 1 and 2 as part of maintenance work.
The exit to Salwa Road, which is heading towards Doha, will be closed to vehicles heading from Muaidar/Bu Sidra to West Industrial Street. The authorities have stated on their official social media accounts that this temporary arrangement is for the purpose of maintenance of the overhead directional signs on the road.
Traffic restrictions will be imposed during the following hours:
- May 1 (Friday): 2am to 10am.
- May 2 (Saturday): 2am to 8am.
Ashghal urged the public to strictly adhere to the permitted speed limit during these times and to divert vehicles via alternative routes indicated on the map provided by the authorities to avoid travel disruption.
