The Qatar Meteorological Department has announced that strong north-westerly winds are likely to blow in Qatar from tomorrow (May 7) until next week. Although the wind speed may vary in the coming days, it is likely to be very strong at times, the new weather report states.

Along with the strong winds, there is a high possibility of dust storms in the country. As a result, some areas of the country may be filled with dust and horizontal visibility may decrease significantly during the upcoming weekend. Therefore, drivers and those who are out on the roads should be especially careful during these days.
