The local dates festival, which celebrates Qatar’s rich agricultural heritage and the quality of its national produce, will kick off in Souq Waqif on July 25, 2026. The festival will be held at the Eastern Square in Souq Waqif until August 10. The festival will provide people with a great opportunity to taste and purchase the best local dates directly from Qatari farmers.

Admission to the festival is free for all; visitors do not need special tickets. The festival will be open from 4pm to 9pm on Sundays to Thursdays, and from 4pm to 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
