Banks and financial institutions in Qatar have announced holidays on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. The official announcement regarding the holidays was made by the Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
Bank holiday details in brief:
- Holiday starts: Thursday, March 19, 2026
- Holiday ends: Monday, March 23, 2026
- Resumption of operations: Tuesday, March 24, 2026
This decision is in accordance with the first paragraph of Article 4 of Amiri Decree No. (57) of 2025 concerning official working days and public holidays in the country. The Central Bank announced that banks and other financial institutions will resume normal operations from Tuesday, March 24, after a five-day holiday. Mobile banking and ATM services will be available without interruption during the holiday.
