Qatar Airways has won the ‘Best Airline App 2025’ award at the World Aviation Festival, the world’s largest aviation technology event. The award was decided after passengers nominated their favourite airline apps, with experts judging the top five based on user experience, services and innovation.

The Qatar Airways app was praised for its smart technology, easy navigation and personalised features that make travelling simpler and more enjoyable. It helps passengers book and manage their journeys, get real-time updates and receive special features such as birthday messages or upgrade alerts.

The app also features Sama, the world’s first AI cabin crew who can plan trips, suggest meals, provide real-time information and chat or speak with passengers. Qatar Airways said that this award highlights its commitment to providing world-class digital experiences to passengers.
