As part of the Eid celebrations, all museums and galleries will remain open from March 21 to 27. Visitors will be able to enter during this period, even on regular holidays. After the Eid holidays, Qatar Museums will return to their regular opening hours.
Opening hours (on regular days)
- Saturday to Thursday: 9am to 7pm.
- Friday: 1:30pm to 7pm.
- Special notes (weekly holidays):
- Mataf (Arab Museum of Modern Art): Closed on Mondays.
- National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ): Closed on Tuesdays.
- 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum: Closed on Tuesdays.
- Museum of Islamic Art (MIA): Closed on Wednesdays.
Currently, only the galleries, cafes and sales points inside the museum are open. Outdoor sites, including heritage centers and archaeological research areas, will remain temporarily closed. Strict precautions have been put in place at the museums to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
