The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has launched an annual vaccination campaign to achieve protection against Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis (Tdap) diseases targeting 10th-year students. The scheme is being implemented with the Ministry of Education and the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHC)
The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes the practical importance of school vaccination in protecting people from these diseases. The WHO also recommends a booster dose of the vaccine every 10 years to maintain immunity.
സർക്കാർ, സ്വകാര്യ, കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി സ്കൂളുകളിൽ MoPH പങ്കാളികളുമായി ചേർന്ന് ക്യാമ്പയിൻ ആരംഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് വാക്സിൻ നൽകാൻ മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെ സമ്മതം നേടാൻ പ്രത്യേകം നിർദ്ദേശങ്ങളും നൽകിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
