In order to make education more efficient in the context of the shift to online learning (distance learning), the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar has changed the school timetable. The new timetable will be applicable in government and private schools from March 8 to 12.
Timetable in government schools:
- Primary section: from 10:00 am to 12:35 pm.
- Preparatory and secondary sections: from 10:30 am to 1:15 pm.
Private schools:
Private schools are allowed to make the necessary changes to their timetables, ensuring that the prescribed study hours are completed during this period.
The ministry also announced that live classes in government and private schools will be held through official educational platforms approved by the respective schools.
