The Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD) has warned that moderate to heavy rain is likely in Qatar this weekend. The department said that the sky will be partly cloudy in the coming days and there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms.

The rain is accompanied by strong winds and hail in some places. The Meteorological Department advised the public to be vigilant in view of the bad weather and strictly follow safety instructions during thunderstorms. As it has already mentioned traffic restrictions on March 20 (Friday) and 21 (Saturday), it is advisable for travelers to pay attention to both the weather and traffic updates.
