Al Mujadilah Center: Nurturing Women’s Mental Health through an Islamic Perspective!

Al Mujadilah Center is a hub dedicated to the religious, mental, and social advancement of Muslim women of diverse ages and backgrounds. The center aims to empower women’s personal growth and deepen their understanding of Islamic principles.

In line with its mission to enhance women’s well-being, the center conducts numerous programs and sessions to raise awareness about Islam and address mental health challenges.

Recently, Al Mujadilah organized a panel discussion at the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) on the topic, “Women’s Mental Health: Insights and Approaches from an Islamic Perspective.”

The discussion explored the unique mental health challenges faced by women, delving into the impacts of conflict, climate change, and demographic shifts on the mental well-being of Muslim women.

The panel was moderated by Dr. Sohaira Z. Siddiqui, Executive Director of Al Mujadilah, and highlighted the importance of addressing these issues through an Islamic lens.
