The Ministry of Municipality has announced the end of this year’s agricultural season in Qatar. As part of this, the ministry has released the operating dates for various local vegetable markets (yards) in the country for this season. The ministry made this known in a statement shared on social media.
Markets that will close by Saturday, May 23, 2026
- Al Sheehaniya
- Al Wakrah
- Al Shamal
- Al Khor
- Al Dhakira
- Al Mazrouah Yard will continue to operate
While other major markets will be closed, the ministry added that this will not affect the operations of Al Mazrouah Yard in Umm Salal Central Market.
