The Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD) has warned that temperatures will rise in the coming days in Qatar, with strong winds and rough seas possible. The country’s temperature will range from 31°C to 41°C over the coming weekend, the Meteorological Department said.

The wind direction will change from the northwest to the northeast on Friday. Strong winds are possible during the day. Waves may reach 2 to 4 feet and at times up to 8 feet.

The sky is expected to be partly cloudy on Saturday and the weather will be pleasant at night. Wind speeds will decrease to 5-15 knots. Waves may initially reach 6 feet, but are likely to decrease to 1 to 4 feet later. Officials said that those who go to the sea and live in coastal areas should heed the advice of the Meteorological Department.
