Doha Metro has announced changes to its services in connection with the Amir Cup Final at the Khalifa International Stadium. The temporary changes will be made to the Metrolink and Metroexpress services from Sports City Station on Saturday, May 9. The authorities said that this arrangement is due to the road closures in the area in connection with the match, and all Metrolink routes affected by this will operate from other stations instead of Sports City Station on that day.

According to the new announcement, M310 Metrolink buses will operate from Exit 1 of Al Waab QLM Station, M311 buses from Al Sudan Bus Station. Similarly, M317 buses will operate from Exit 2 of Al Waab QLM Station. In addition, Metroexpress bookings to and from Sports City Station have been completely suspended for Saturday. Authorities have also advised passengers traveling to this area to book MetroExpress services via Al Waab QLM station instead.
