The Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD) has announced that isolated rain is likely in Qatar from this coming Tuesday (April 21, 2026) until the weekend. The authorities also stated in their social media post that the country will generally have partly to fully cloudy weather in the coming days.

In addition, the Meteorological Department warned of the possibility of strong winds and high waves at sea from tomorrow (Monday, April 20, 2026). This situation may continue throughout this week. Waves are likely to rise in the sea to a height of 4 to 7 feet, and at times up to 11 feet. Therefore, the authorities have strictly advised the public not to go out into the sea and avoid engaging in marine-related activities during these days.
