The Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced that the final of the 54th edition of the Amir Cup, Qatar’s biggest football tournament, will be held on May 9 at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha. After this year’s pre-quarterfinals, eight teams – Al Gharafa, Umm Salal, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Al Shamal, Al Sadd, Al Duhail and Al Arabi – have qualified for the quarter-finals and semi-finals to be held from May 1 to 8.

Tickets for the match will be available from May 2 via the official website www.qfa.qa. A maximum of 6 tickets can be purchased per person. Tickets purchased online will be available on the ‘Road to Qatar’ mobile app from May 7.

A wide range of entertainment and cultural programs are also being prepared for the spectators attending the final match in the stadium’s fan zone. This year is also the 50th anniversary of the Khalifa International Stadium, which will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup. This stadium was inaugurated in 1976.
