The Qatar Meteorological Department announced that the star ‘Al Muaqar’ (Al Dira’ Al Awwal) has risen in Qatar, indicating weather changes. The period of influence of this star is 13 days. During these days, moderate weather will be experienced at night and intense heat will be experienced in the afternoon.
Along with this, the ‘Al-Sarayat’ season is also continuing in the country. As part of this, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms and sometimes hail. In addition, the Meteorological Department stated that there is a possibility of dust storms and strong winds at times.
Abdullah Mohammed Al Mannai, Director of the Qatar Meteorological Department, had earlier explained that the Al-Sarayat season, which starts at the end of March, sometimes lasts until mid-May. The main feature of this season is the formation of large dark clouds very quickly, followed by heavy rain with thunderstorms. This can cause sudden strong winds and dust storms in some areas.
