The Meteorological Department has announced that temperatures will rise in Qatar this weekend and there is a possibility of strong winds. It has also warned that coastal areas should be cautious as the sea is likely to be rough.

The weather forecast is as follows:

• Today (Thursday): The temperature will be around 27°C during the day. There will be a slight dusty atmosphere. However, the weather will be relatively cold at night.
• Friday: The temperature may rise and reach a maximum of 30°C. The sky will be partly cloudy. Winds are likely to blow from the northwest at a speed of 5 to 15 knots.
• Saturday: The highest temperature this week will be experienced on Saturday. The maximum temperature may rise to 32°C. Although it will feel quite warm during the day, clouds will appear in the sky. Hazy weather is also possible in some areas.

The sea will be rough for the next three days. Waves are likely to rise from 2 to 7 feet. At times, it may rise up to 10 feet. Therefore, the authorities have advised sea-goers and tourists to be extra cautious.
