Officials have announced that citizens and expatriates can use the Ministry of Home Affairs’ ‘Metrash’ application to easily register and update their national address. The ministry reminded about this through its official social media page.
Failure to register the national address or not updating it in time if there are changes in the address will be considered a violation of the law. The ministry has also strictly warned that those who default will face legal action.
Simple steps to update the address:

- Step 2: Fill in the required information asked accurately.
- Step 3: Verify that all the information provided is correct.
- Step 4: After confirming the information, click ‘Done’.
The ministry has clarified that children under the age of 18 do not need to be given a separate address, and that the same address as their parents will be recorded in the system for children.
