The Ramadan Cannon, which marks the breaking of the fast (Iftar), is one of the most beautiful and historic sights of the month of Ramadan in Qatar. This year, extensive facilities have been set up in the country’s major tourist destinations to witness and participate in this traditional ceremony.
The ceremony will take place from February 18 to March 18, 2026, during the month of Ramadan. The cannons will be fired every day between 05:30 and 06:00 at Iftar time. Visitors can witness this spectacle for free, without any tickets or prior registration.
This year, Ramadan fireworks will be set up at the following seven major locations:
- Old Doha Port
- Katara
- Souq Waqif
- Souq Al Wakrah
- Lusail Boulevard
- Aspire Park
- Souq Ain Hleetan
