Mowasalat (Karwa) will be conducting a public trial of its new robotaxi at Old Doha Port on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 10am to 4pm, giving the public a chance to experience the service first-hand. Those interested can register via an online form, where they must provide contact details and select a preferred time slot, with a maximum of two people allowed per trip.

Described as the first service of its kind in Qatar, the robotaxi operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Transport. It is equipped with an advanced system that includes eleven cameras, four radars and four lidar sensors, allowing for 360-degree environmental awareness and precise navigation.
