The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the temporary closure of the freeway and service road from Jassim bin Hamad Street to Fahd bin Jassim Al Thani Street. The closure will be in effect from 12 midnight to 5 am every day starting Monday, January 12, 2026, and will remain in effect until Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

During the closure period, Ashghal urged drivers to adhere to the speed limit and follow designated diversion routes to safely reach their destinations via nearby streets and alternative roads. Road users are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance to avoid delays.
