The Public Works Authority Ashghal has announced a temporary traffic ban at Bani Hajar Interchange on Friday, January 9, 2026, to carry out road works. The five-hour traffic ban will be in effect from 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This will affect vehicles traveling from Al Shahama Street to Dukhan and from Khalifa Street to Al Shahama Street, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.

During the closure, vehicles coming from Doha to Bani Hajar via Khalifa Street are advised to use the bridge leading to New Al Rayyan Street, make a U-turn at Al Shafi Interchange, and then enter the Bani Hajar Interchange underpass. Drivers heading from Al Shahama Street towards Dukhan should proceed via the Bani Hajar Underpass and make a U-turn using the Al Shafi Interchange on New Al Rayyan Street to proceed to their destination.
