The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the temporary closure of the Mesaimeer Interchange Tunnel, which runs from Mesaimeer Road to Rawdat Al Khail Street. The closure will be implemented in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic to facilitate essential maintenance.
The tunnel will be closed for eight hours from 2am to 10am on Friday, January 2, 2026. Ashghal urged road users to use alternative routes indicated on the map during the traffic diversion and to plan their journeys during the closure period.
