Qatar and Bahrain have launched a new passenger ferry service between Qatar’s Al-Ruwais Port and Bahrain’s Khalifa Bin Salman Port. The 50-minute journey is the first of its kind between the two countries. The ferry can carry approximately 28 to 32 passengers per trip. A round-trip ticket in economy class costs 265 riyals.

The new service aims to facilitate travel and increase tourism, trade and transport links between Qatar and Bahrain. Officials from both countries attended the inauguration ceremony at Al-Ruwais Port. A Bahraini delegation also visited the port earlier to review the facilities and prepare for the start of operations.’
