The Ministry of Municipality has officially reopened Dal Al Hammam Park, one of Qatar’s most popular public parks, after completing a complete renovation and redevelopment. The renovation of the park, located in Doha Municipality, was carried out with the support of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
The renovation is part of the government’s 2024–2030 Strategic Plan and supports the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to create more green spaces and promote a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for residents and visitors.
New features and amenities
- Four playgrounds for children
- A 900-seat amphitheater (Dal Al Hammam Theater).
- A celebration area and a multipurpose hall for events
- A 390-meter jogging track
- Three outdoor fitness areas
- A basketball court
- Three food kiosks and a fully equipped cafe
- 220 parking spaces
- Prayer rooms for men and women
- An administration building for park management
- Disability-friendly paths and facilities
Other additions include family seating, modern restrooms, a separate water tank for irrigation, and an on-site power station. The park also has three solar-powered charging stations, showing a strong commitment to sustainability.
