Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has shared a May weather update. Towards the end of May, a low pressure area over India becomes stronger. This change causes winds to blow from the north in the second half of the month. The average temperature for May is expected to be around 32°C.
The coldest May temperature ever recorded in Qatar was 15.2°C in 1971, while the hottest was 47.7°C in 2014. The average daily temperature is calculated by taking the midpoint between the highest and lowest temperatures for each day.
