The H.H. Aamir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani approved Executive Regulations (2022 Number 1). The social insurance system in the country is playing a major role in developing more transparency, impacts, and financial stability.

GRSIA said the statement of Executive Regulations Social Insurance Act, GRSIA said in a statement released today to ensure the rights of insured citizens. These regulations ensure the commitment to provide high-level services to all users.

According to Executive Regulations of the Social Insurance Act, an additional bonus will be given every year after the 30-year subscription period, and the bonus is available for a maximum of 10 years. Bonuses will be provided in bonuses for the first five years or to its part and will be rewarded with two pension account salaries for the next five years. Pension account salary should not be more than 1 lakh rial, which will enter this limit. Do not exceed 50% of the total premium provided to the Bonus’s value fund.

In respect of retiring employees, the statement regarding payment of advance with pension guarantee has also been clarified. The value of the advance will be five times the pension, not exceeding a maximum of 3 lakh riyals, and the advance will be paid only twice during the retirement period. The advance amount shall be deducted from the pension in monthly installments and shall be repaid over a period not exceeding 5 years. Deduction from pension will start from the month following the date of receipt of advance. The application for advance should be submitted to the entity prescribed by the Authority in the form prepared for the purpose and should specify the amount of advance required and the period within which the installments are to be repaid. It should also be written that you agree to deduct the advance amount from the pension in monthly installments.
