The 15th Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) concluded with a bang, with a record 490,493 visitors attending over 10 days at the 974 stadium precinct. This made it the most attended edition in the festival’s history. QIFF 2026, organised by Visit Qatar, saw a 36% increase in attendance year-on-year, with 10% of attendees being international visitors and 22.1% Qatari nationals.

The festival featured 200 local vendors and 46 international vendors, and featured over 50 local and global chefs through live demonstrations and workshops. The QIFF Awards also made their debut this year, recognising outstanding participants. Taco King won Favourite Chef, while Shakarji received an honorary award. Through extensive global partnerships, new initiatives, and strong visitor engagement, QIFF 2026 further strengthened its position as a key cultural and culinary event in Qatar’s annual calendar.
