The Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD) has announced that temperatures in Qatar will drop further from Wednesday, January 21, and will continue throughout the week. The department said that the extremely cold weather will return and temperatures will drop significantly across the country.

The QMD warned that strong northwesterly winds are likely during this period, which will increase the cold. Marine warnings are in place as the sea is expected to be rough, and residents have been advised to take the necessary precautions.
