The sixth Qatar Luxury Classic Car Competition and Exhibition was inaugurated yesterday at Pearl Island by QGCCA Chairman Sheikh Faisal bin Qassim Al Thani. The expanded exhibition, which runs until November 23, showcases rare classic cars from around the world, with 40% of the exhibition being GCC vehicles. The event is being held under the auspices of FIVA and is attended by senior officials, ambassadors and distinguished guests.
Sheikh Faisal said that this edition marks a major milestone with strong local participation, which reinforces Qatar’s commitment to preserving its automotive heritage. Fifteen prizes will be awarded in five categories and special awards of excellence. A panel of six experts will judge the vehicles according to FIVA standards.
