The Public Works Authority (Ashgal) has announced that the Khalifa Al Atiyya Interchange will be temporarily closed to all traffic. The closure will begin at 2am on Friday, November 21, 2025, and will continue until 5am on Saturday, November 22, 2025, for essential maintenance.

Ashgal advised motorists to adhere to the speed limit, use designated diversion routes, and choose nearby alternative streets to reach their destinations as advised.
