Qatar will experience mild days and cold nights as the ‘Al-Ghafar’ star rises this evening, November 11, signaling the start of winter.

According to the Qatar Meteorological Department (QMD), this phase will last for 13 days and is expected to bring rough seas and rain cloud formation. The rain during this period is called Banat Al-Qama, which means “daughters of truffles” or “daughters of thunder.”
