The Ministry of Interior has announced a number of temporary road closures as Qatar hosts the World Social Development Summit on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Roads will be closed from 6:00 am to 5:00 pm to ensure smooth traffic and safety during the event.
The following roads will be closed:
- Hamad International Airport Road exit via Ras Bu Aboud Road to Al Sharq Interchange.
- Airport Park Street on the C-Ring Road to Al Sharq Interchange exit.
- Corniche Road from Al Sharq Intersection to National Theater Intersection.
- Mohammed Bin Thani Street from National Theater Intersection to Wadi Al Saleh Intersection.
- Al Bida Street from Wadi Al Saleh Intersection to Al Maha Intersection.
- Khalifa Street from Al Maha Intersection to Garafat Al Rayyan Interchange.
- Golf Stadium Street from Lektafiya Intersection to Golf Club Interchange.
- University Street from Golf Club Intersection to Television Interchange.
The Second World Social Development Summit, which will bring together heads of state, government leaders, and representatives of international and regional organizations, will be held in Doha from November 4 to 6. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and follow traffic instructions during the closure period.
