As part of its 2024–2030 Strategy to achieve full digital transformation and deliver government services faster and easier, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has launched 20 new digital services on its official website.
The new services aim to simplify procedures, speed up transactions, and improve the user experience for consumers and investors. They can be accessed through the e-Services Portal using the National Authentication System (NAS) that ensures data security and privacy.
The services include licensing, market monitoring, price assessment, and tools to protect competition and consumer rights. Users can report defective products, file complaints online, track and view inspection results.
There is a direct link to the General Authority of Customs for easy product registration, as well as a platform to track companies, services, and applications. The ministry said this step is a major milestone in its digital transformation journey and will help improve service quality, reduce processing times, and strengthen Qatar’s business environment and global competitiveness.
