The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) in Doha has announced the temporary closure of two major streets for road maintenance.

The two fast lanes of Al Jamia Street from Al Markhiya Interchange to Television Interchange will be closed. The closure will continue until 5am on Thursday, September 25. Drivers will be able to use the right lane at intersections and take alternative routes to reach their destinations.

University Street from Lejbailat Interchange to Television Interchange via Abdul Aziz Bin Jassim Street will also be closed. The closure will be in effect from 11pm on Thursday, September 25 until 5am on Sunday, September 28.

Ashghal advised drivers to use right turns at Lejbailat and Television Interchanges to reach nearby streets.
