Qatar’s Ministry of Labor has lifted a lunchtime work ban that had banned outdoor work between 10am and 3:30pm during the summer. The law was in place from June 1 to September 15 to protect workers from extreme heat.

Normal working hours have now resumed, but the ministry urged employers and workers to continue to adhere to health and safety measures.
