Al Watan reported that more than 3.27 million people visited Qatar in the first eight months of 2025. The largest number of visitors came from the GCC countries (36.8%), followed by Europe (24.6%), and Asia-Pacific. According to the figures, about 1.2 million visitors came from the GCC, more than 800,000 from Europe, and about 710,000 from Asia-Pacific.

Most tourists arrived by air, while the rest arrived by road and sea. The highest number of visitors arrived in January, with 637,000. The lowest was in July, with 318,000. Tourist numbers decreased during the summer months. Qatar Tourism said that the number of visitors in the first half of 2025 increased by 3% compared to the previous year.
