The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced temporary road closures in Doha and surrounding areas for repairs starting this weekend.
Jabour Bin Ahmed Intersection: Two lanes of the road from Salwa to Wadi Mushairib Intersection will be closed from 2am on Friday, September 12 until 7am on Saturday, September 13.
Al Markhiya Street: One lane and the left lane from Lejbailat Intersection to Onaiza Intersection will be closed from 2am on Friday, September 12 until 7am on Saturday, September 13. Traffic will be diverted to Lekhware Intersection.
Al-Jamiah Street: The two left-hand lanes from Markhiya Intersection to Television Intersection will be closed from 11pm on Saturday, September 13 until 5am on Thursday, September 18. Drivers can use the right-hand lanes on the streets to continue their journey.
Ashghal advised drivers to follow the diversion signs, adhere to the speed limit and use alternative roads to avoid delays.
