Steps to transfer vehicle ownership online in Qatar:
- Log in to the Metrash app (available on iOS and Android).
- On the homepage, go to the “Traffic” section.
- Select “Vehicles”.
- Click on “Vehicle Ownership Transfer”.
- Select whether the vehicle is registered in an individual or company name.
- Enter the required details: buyer and seller information, vehicle value, and then click “Submit”.
- Once submitted, the buyer will receive a notification on their Metrash app to approve the transfer.
- Once the buyer approves, the seller must pay a transaction fee of 200 riyals via their Metrash app to finalize the process.
With this, the transfer is complete, and the new road permit (Estimara card) will be delivered to the registered address via QPost, or can be obtained from the Traffic Department headquarters in Madinah Khalifa.
