The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced temporary road closures at various locations in Doha and surrounding areas for maintenance work.

Al Tawon Interchange: Two lanes will be closed to traffic from Sheraton Interchange to Al Tawon Interchange. Starting at 12am on Friday, August 15, 2025, and ending at 5am on Saturday, August 16, 2025.

Jabur Bin Ahmed Intersection: The left-turn lane from Salwa Road to Mushairib Intersection will be completely closed to traffic. This will be from 2am on Friday, August 15, 2025, to 5am on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Al Bidda Street: There will be a partial road closure from Oryx Interchanges to Wadi Al Saleh Intersection. The free right turns onto Al Bidda Street will also be closed at two points, as shown on the map. This closure will be in effect from 2am on Friday, August 15, 2025, until 5am on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

Ashghal advises drivers to use open lanes or nearby alternative routes to reach their destinations.
