The General Directorate of Traffic has issued a general directive requiring vehicle owners whose registrations have expired to regularize their vehicle registration status within 30 days from today.

This is part of the Directorate’s continuous efforts to comply with Qatar’s traffic laws and regulations. The directive is particularly applicable to vehicles that have exceeded their legal validity period as stated in Article (11) of Traffic Law No. (19) of 2007.

Officials have warned that failure to renew within the stipulated period will result in legal consequences. Vehicle owners are therefore strongly encouraged to take immediate action. This initiative reinforces the Directorate’s commitment to road safety and regulatory enforcement across the country.
